Weapon DPS Comparison

Tested with stopwatch, 3 times to get the damage per second (DPS). Then the number were multiplied with the attack number of the weapon given for each weapon. 0 Strenght were used for the testing.

This test were made by Ralathar44 and posted on reddit.

Fists:

Harvesting Tools:

Swords:

all swords attacks a cone sized area in front of it, making it good at killing multiple enemies at a time

Hammers:

Seemingly focused around hitting harder and slower, but for some reason have far lesser range than swords. Especially the Stone Club which is barely longer than dagger range.

Javelin/Throwing Axes:

Can be thrown for a ranged attacks. Thrown spears and Axes cannot be retrieved, they are gone, as such throwing them is not recommended until they fix this. Slightly shorter range than swords.

Daggers:

Very very short range, barely longer than punch range, fast attacks. Low DPS. Low Durability. It seems there is a poison for daggers right now. Reaper Poison. But this is in a higher level zone.

Polearms:

All Polearms have increased ranged and a charging attack which can be used for Jousting. Longer range than swords by a notable amount.

Ranged Weapons:

As they can equip multiple qualities of projectiles all are listed and the ranged DPS calculations are slightly more complex.

Arrow Damages: 16/24/32 (24).

Summary:

Swords seem to be the best option at the moment for most situations. Polearms are good in some specific situations, but Daggers without poisons (in lower levels) are useless and ranged weapons… horrible damage and buggy.
