Often unauthorized third party developers offer hacks and cheats for multiple games, which often do not hold their promises. Sometimes these can even damage your computer. This is one of the reason why the developers of Conan Exiles implemented their own cheat engine right inside the basic game, which can be activated pretty easily.
You just have to promote yourself as an administrator of a server if you’re not playing in singleplayer (then you’re automaticly an administrator). After that you can use multiple cheats to make your gaming experience a whole lot easier. There are multiple commands like noclip mode, godmode or commands to give you items.
Be an administrator
(not required for singeplayer):
- Go to the steam installation folder on the server
- Open the file “serversettings.ini” or “ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\engine.ini”
- Search the line with “AdminPassword=”
- Add a secret password behind this line
- Restart the server and connect to it
- After you’ve been connected, press the ESC key and go to the settings menu
- Click the tab “Serverconfiguration”
- At the right top should be the button “Make me an Admin”. Click it. Now you have to enter the password of step 4
- If everything went correctly you should see the message “Admin Rights Granted” and your Cheatmode should be activated
Enable the Admin-Console
You can enter the Admin Console by pressing “CTRL+Shift+C”. In this you can easily spawn items, monsters and activate common cheats.
Using the Cheat Console
the best way to manipulate the game is the usage of the cheat console, if you know all required commands. You can access it by opening the console (“´” button on US-keyboards, can be changed) and then entering “ENABLECHEATS”. Now you can use the following commands to manipulate the game even more:
Known Cheat Commands

| DestroyTarget | Destroys the target in your crosshair. (Be careful, can destroy parts of the map when aimed on the world! -> restart to recover the missing map-part) |

| Ghost | Invisible to other players – no collision mode, Noclip – you can pass through objects |
| God | Gives you god mode – immortal, no damage, except from the cursed wall |

| NoSprintCost | Unlimited Sprint mode – no stamina drain while sprinting |
| PrintPlayerInfo | Gives you the specific players Steam name + in-game character name (You can enter a players character name to get their Steam name or you can enter the Steam name to get their character name) – You have to double tap, to see the output |
